Stages of Drug R&D
Still Strugglin' with Data (infographic/explainer)
Today we see and hear plenty of content about how data, both old and new, generated throughout drug discovery and development are fragmented and not FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable - we ❤️our acronyms).
It is easy to think about how legacy data, collected with less evolved methods and previous generation hardware, might present us with this challenge. Unfortunately, even today the “best in class” biotechnology and pharma companies who have spent tens to hundreds of millions of dollars are producing data in much the same way as 20 years ago…just more of it.
